Honduras Honey Process Coffee

Honduras Honey Process Coffee

Ceiba is a majestic tree native to Central America, revered by the Mayans as a sacred tree. In Honduras, it also lends its name to a department known as “La Ceiba la Bella”.

Café Ceiba comes from several partner producers in the Marcala region of La Paz and is proudly 100% organic.

Since 2018, Belco have worked closely with COMSA (Café Orgánico Marcala), a cooperative dedicated to sustainability and supporting farmers in their transition from conventional to environmentally friendly, organic practices.

COMSA’s philosophy goes beyond farming: producers regularly take courses in coffee tasting and agronomy, while the cooperative also invests in the education of local children—nurturing the next generation of coffee growers.
