Natural Mountain Water Process decaffeinated coffee from Mexico.
This Mexican Decaf is a single estate coffee from Finca La Laja that is naturally processed using water from the glaciers of the highest mountain in Mexico.
It is a great taste of fresh coffee without the caffeine
We would recommend Woodfired, using locally sourced sustainable Cornish Oak, which maintains the beans oils that can easily be lost in the more open flame UNO roast.
The process works by immersing the green beans in water. The beans are washed at varying temperatures and pressures. to wash off the caffeine, a method called Mountain Water Process. However, the water preserves the soluble flavouring of the beans, keeping the original characteristics of the coffee.
This coffee has notes of warm spice and chocolate, with a bright acidity and clean aftertaste.
