Brazil Fazenda Palmital

Brazil Fazenda Palmital

Fazenda Palmital has been in the same family for generations. First acquired just over 100 years ago by Joaquim Sebastião de Souza. In that time the families dedicatation has earned them a reputation for producing top quality coffee sustainably. The farm is currently run by Joaquim’s great great grandson and the next generation are set to take over after. All of their coffee is handpicked before being patio dried to 25% moisture content. This is followed by a machine drying process to reduce it further to 11%. Modern technology has allowed them to undertake the process with great accuracy. This helps to ensure a consistently top quality coffee. They have also significantly reduced their environmental impact in production. The hulled permagiano is reused to power some machines. Reducing waste and energy used throughout production. The result is a sublimely sippable and full bodied coffee.

Cupping Notes:  Dark and milk chocolate, praline, caramel and light biscuit notes.
