This sensational coffee is bursting with all kinds of sweetness. Produced by Cooperative Agricola Integral Peña Roja, based in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Peña Roja is a Small but quickly expanding cooperative that resides in the foothills of Peña Blanca, reaching an altitude of 3520masl. It is managed by Anacelto Martinez and his son, Mynor, is the head agronomist. They collaborate with a larger union of local cooperatives to create a support network that increases traceability, quality and best practices.

Distribution and marketing is also handled by the union, allowing producers to really focus on quality. All the coffee is handpicked and dried under the sun before a mix of wet and dry processing, creating a luscious coffee with an SCA cup score of 83.

Cupping notes

Gentle floral notes followed by a fruity punch of peach and melon to complement the rich base of toffee and milk chocolate.
