Modern Coffee Oak Roasted

Speciality Coffee Roasters and Pottery Studio

At Potterbeans, we've ditched the rush of coffee-to-go culture in favour of slowing things down and doing things properly. Our single origin beans are picked with care, based on what's in season and what's tasting great. Roasted over Cornish oak, we boldly honour traditional roasting methods with a modern edge to highlight the unique characteristics so carefully created at origin. Every little detail is considered, from printing our own labels, to hand-packing each tin with care.

So take a breather, share a brew or two, and savour the slower side of coffee.

Choosing Coffees

We carefully curate our single origin beans to represent as many of the wide ranging profiles practically possible. Origins, varietals, processing, and altitude create an infinite array of ever changing taste notes. Our coffees are constantly changing in exploration of these infinite possibilities. In stock will represent what is seasonally available and tasting great!

Using locally sourced solar dried oak wood, we combine artisanal skill, and modern day software to guide the coffee roasting process on our restored 1950s coffee roaster.

Pottery Studio

Each piece is thrown and glazed by our resident potter, Lucy Brown, here in our studio in Cornwall. Lucy is at home when she is on the wheel, describing it as 'pure bliss' when she loses herself in the mindful process. All our tumblers and espresso cups are made by Lucy, designed to make your coffee moments a little more special.
