Mexico Puebla Microlot

Mexico Puebla Microlot

In the rugged highlands of Puebla, near the towns of Cuetzalan and Zacapoaxtla, coffee farmers carry on a tradition that has been passed down for generations. At 1,300 meters in the Sierra Norte, this region reflects a deep-rooted connection to coffee, with misty forests and fertile volcanic soils providing ideal conditions for cultivation—a balance of heritage and innovation.

Each morning, farmers walk the rows of coffee plants, carefully inspecting tree health and cherry ripeness. They grow varieties such as Caturra and Mundo Novo, both well-adapted to the region’s distinctive climate. Harvest season is intense yet rewarding, as only the ripest cherries are handpicked to ensure the highest quality.

For these farmers, coffee is far more than a crop—it is a legacy, a reflection of both the land they steward and the community that sustains it.
