Colombian Smallholders

Colombian Smallholders

Colombian coffee is renowned for its great sweetness and fruity acidity, and this one is no exception.

Grown in the regions of Nariño, Huila, Tolima and Quindio it is the result of a joint venture of smallholders, whose produce otherwise wouldn’t have enough volume to reach the market.

Only the highest quality microlots were selected. All of 100% Castillo, a variety developed over generations by the FNC to have high cup scores, resistance to leaf rust and greater productivity. With notes of citrus fruit and smooth body, this coffee is delicious for pour over and equally as a bright and fruity espresso.

Colombian Smallholders

A fruity coffee I have enjoyed as espresso and aeropress.
