Shipping Information
Shipping Information
How long do orders take to arrive?
All orders are shipped with Royal Mail 24hr delivery. Although usually shipped same day, it can take 2-4 working days before dispatch, depending on the roasted coffee inventory.
How much does delivery cost ?
Standard delivery is £4 on all UK orders.
Can I pick up locally ?
Yes ! we are happy to see customers come and pick up freshly roasted beans at Blackwater TR4 8HW near Truro (see map for location)
Is there a use by date?
Each bag will have a roasting date, coffee is best used fresh, or within 3 weeks of roasting.
How should I store my coffee?
We ship our beans in paper compostable zip lock packs. Once opened, your beans should be kept either in our zip-lock bags or a seal-able container, and kept in cool, dry place. (We do not recommend refrigerating your coffee as it will take in other aromas very easily and will go through extremes in temperature which may age it quicker.)
Do you accept returns on coffee bean orders ?
We do not accept returns of coffee orders. However, if you are in any way unhappy with your purchase from us please contact us sales@potterbeans.coffee.
We will do our best to put things right and appreciate feedback.
How do subscriptions work?
Subscriptions are simple. Choose the coffee format and quantity you’d like to receive each month, select the subscribe button and add to your basket.
Subscriptions are available for home delivery only.
When will my subscription coffee arrive?
We will dispatch your first order within 2-4 days, depending on roasting days. Our standard delivery is Royal Mail.
Subsequent orders will be delivered monthly on the anniversary of your first order. You can sign-in to your account at any time to manage your subscription. You will also find an option to cancel your subscription within the order management section of your account.
When will I be charged for my subscription?
Your payments start the day you sign up and will recur every month on the anniversary of your first order.
How can I pause or cancel my subscription?
You can easily pause or cancel your subscription from your account page. Simply head to your account and select ‘manage subscriptions’ and select the product order you wish to change.
Can I put the pottery in my dishwasher or microwave ?
All Lucy's pottery is dishwasher, microwave and food safe.

The quality is excellent, and it was packaged really well. It’s a beautiful handmade item and I can’t wait to give it as a gift. The gift message also came on a cute card and the item was delivered really quickly. Thank you so much!
The tumbler is really well made, looks great, and it’s so nice to have something that’s hand made rather than mass-produced. It’s now a permanent part of my morning Moka pot ritual. Recommended.
I first contacted Potterbeans by web chat to check how long delivery would take as I needed my order in less than a week for a birthday gift, the response was pretty quick, confirming a delivery date. I placed an order which arrived as stated, a couple of days later. My husband opened the gift box on his birthday, unfortunately one of the tumblers was broken, although it was so well wrapped I was surprised! I contacted Potterbeans by email and got a very swift response and a replacement arrived within a couple of days. The tumblers are lovely, perfect size for a flat white or a long black. The coffee is lovely and the tins are very stylish.
Clearly very well made and a high quality feel and appearance
The display box in the picture on the online store made me think you got 2 tumblers, not just one. This made the cost of just 1 tumbler so very expensive! Very nice but super pricey! We bought the gift set with the 2 cans of beans.
Hi Hayley, there is an animated picture which shows all possible scenarios, and a photo of each gift box combination possible. It clearly states one or more tumblers in the description. The customer can only add one item at a time to the gift box, they are not added to the gift box in pairs.
It would be nice if you could take some time to read other reviews about the product, it is priced so Lucy can make a very basic living, as only a limited amount can be produced in one month. This is not a factory made mass produced item. There are many factory made items out there, and I think this is your price point.
