Nicaragua Jinotega Honey

Nicaragua Jinotega Honey

Sourced from a single farm, 'Las Morenitas' resides in the Jinotega region of Nicaragua and grow this incredibe new varietal: Marsellesa. A hybrid of Hybrido de Timor and Villa Sarchi, created in Nicaragua itself, to improve the quality of coffee and make it resistant to Rust. It’s also part of the WCR Verified program. The farm itself ensures quality in their produce as well as set an example of ethical standards in the induistry by paying their workers 35% higher than the market standard.

This coffee's mix of both Caturra and Marsellesa varietals combined with the honey proceess provide a uniquely sweet and incredibely delicious brew, that boasts notes of Chocolate, Hazelnut, Stewed Prune.

perfect for me

when the box arrived it was nicely packed and I loved the fact there was no plastic at all! Just cardboard and aluminium to recycle. The wood roasted beans were delicious after I managed to dial in the correct grind size for my Bambino expresso machine . I tasted lots of choc and a hint of fruit

This coffee is incredible, after doing a lot of travelling and finding one we loved, we have never found anything to compare. That is until I discovered Potterbeans.
